The Museum of Beer and Brewing is a non-profit educational organization that was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, by a group of beer history enthusiasts. Since its conception,[when?] the group has lost one of its founding members, Karl Strauss, a retired brewer from the Pabst Brewing Company. Strauss died in 2006, at the age of 94.

The organization plans to have a physical tour center opened, but currently[when?] hosts temporary exhibits at various venues in Milwaukee. Some of the venues include the Miller Inn tasting room at Miller Brewing Company, and the former Brown Bottle Pub at the former Schlitz Brewery. The organization posts articles about brewing history and Milwaukee breweries on its website. The group is currently getting ready to feature some its treasured collections in the former Pabst Brewing Brew House currently under renovation for a Hotel developed by The Gorman Company and scheduled to open in 2012.

One of the newer board members is Erik Peterson. Peterson is the founder of several charity raising pub crawls in Milwaukee. He has raised thousands of dollars for a variety of charities.Another board member Mike Brown known as Festvangelist founded the Audacious Beer and Cheese Celebration, a regionally renowned tasting event. The weekend celebration features both boutique and grand brewer and cheesemaker tastings and only select craft beers on tap. Board member Jim Haertel owns the original Pabst Blue Ribbon Headquarters and visitor center. The original Pabst Buildings date back to the 1800s and are now home to Best Place at the Historical Pabst Buildings. Jim also offers historical tours of the buildings and is host to many special events.

Project was still under development in 2014.
